Current students, faculty, and staff may request materials for the collection, including ebooks, using the Purchase Request Form.
At this time, entire ebooks are not available to borrow through interlibrary loan due to licensing restrictions. To request a physical book, a copy of a book chapter, a score, or audiovisual media, please use the interlibrary loan book request form.
Using ebooks at an academic library is different from using ebooks you bought or ebooks you borrowed from a public library. The ebooks in SU's collections are hosted on several different websites (platforms), so what you are allowed to do with an ebook depends on the platform where it is hosted as well as restrictions from the ebook's publisher. Most platforms offer options to read in your browser and to download individual chapters. More details are available on the library's Ebooks guide.
